Life is hard!

These last days we have seen disaster as never before. The weather has set records everywhere, things happening that have never happened before. Hurricanes, tornados, tsunami’s and volcano’s happening around the world with many lives lost or devastated. Everyone trying to find who or what to blame for all this, trying to make since of it all and then watching as the prices of gasoline and most everything else skyrocket to the breaking point for many. What is happening!

Well let’s see what God says: In Isaiah chapter two it talks very bluntly about the last days. I highly advise you to read the whole chapter but the statement that is very clear in the TLB (Living Bible) says;

Isaiah 2:6 (TLB) The Lord has rejected you because you welcome foreigners from the East who practice magic and communicate with evil spirits, as the Philistines do.

Isaiah 2:6 (KJV) Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.

I personally cannot understand why the “Harry Potter” books are accepted by even Christians! But I personally know people who believe in God as the Trinity and they allow their children to read these books which teach witchcraft! I understand it is impossible for any of us to live perfect lives, and we walk in Grace and Mercy, but we must “do our best” to follow God’s rule this Jesus asked us to do. Forgiveness it always there for us but we mustn’t just do whatever we want counting on this. That is not how Jesus told us to do. Through out the Bible we are told how to live and what to do and not do, the simplest things and we ignore them? How hard is it to understand God is insulted by seeking any other means of finding answers to life other than through Him? This means do not seek witchcraft, do not seek fortune tellers, do not seek horoscopes and do not ask a mood ring how you feel! People want to blame God when awful things happen and take no responsibility what so ever for their own actions and disobedience to God. All through the Bible God says if you do these things these other things will happen. God means what He says! God set the rules for our world before we were born… it is our job to find out what “WE” are doing wrong and “NOT” blame God for every thing that goes wrong as though we have no part in it. Read the Bible! What we do counts for how our lives are, what our leaders do count for what our countries are. We are not to blindly follow any leader! We are to pray for our leaders, but our prayers should be for them to see the truth of God and to follow it! Constantly we need to ask God through His Holy Spirit to reveal truth to our leaders and bring our leaders to be humble before the Lord. This kind of prayer is what will heal our nations!

Back to what God says:

Jeremiah 23 the whole chapter is awesome! I would advise everyone to read it in both TLB and KJV… here are some highlights from the TLB:

Jeremiah 23:1-4

The Lord declares:

I will send disaster upon the leaders of my people—the shepherds of my sheep—for they have destroyed and scattered the very ones they were to care for. Instead of leading my flock to safety, you have deserted them and driven them to destruction. And now I will pour out judgment upon you for the evil you have done to them. And I will gather together the remnant of my flock from wherever I have sent them and bring them back into their own fold, and they shall be fruitful and increase. And I will appoint responsible shepherds to care for them, and they shall not need to be afraid again; all of them shall be accounted for continually.

Jeremiah 23:9-11

My heart is broken for the false prophets, full of deceit. I awake with fear and stagger as a drunkard does from wine because of the awful fate awaiting them, for God has decreed holy words of judgment against them. For the land is full of adultery, and the curse of God is on it. The land itself is mourning—the pastures are dried up—for the prophets do evil, and their power is used wrongly. The priests are like the prophets, all ungodly, wicked men. I have seen their despicable acts right here in my own Temple, says the Lord

Here is more written in God’s Word that is so plain in TLB:

2 Timothy 3:1-5

You may as well know this too, Timothy, that in the last days it is going to be very difficult to be a Christian. For people will love only themselves and their money; they will be proud and boastful, sneering at God, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful to them, and thoroughly bad. They will be hardheaded and never give in to others; they will be constant liars and troublemakers and will think nothing of immorality. They will be rough and cruel, and sneer at those who try to be good. They will betray their friends; they will be hotheaded, puffed up with pride, and prefer good times to worshiping God. They will go to church, yes, but they won’t really believe anything they hear. Don’t be taken in by people like that.

2 Peter 3:1-10

This is my second letter to you, dear brothers, and in both of them I have tried to remind you—if you will let me—about facts you already know: facts you learned from the holy prophets and from us apostles who brought you the words of our Lord and Savior.

First, I want to remind you that in the last days there will come scoffers who will do every wrong they can think of and laugh at the truth. This will be their line of argument: “So Jesus promised to come back, did he? Then where is he? He’ll never come! Why, as far back as anyone can remember, everything has remained exactly as it was since the first day of creation.”

They deliberately forget this fact: that God did destroy the world with a mighty flood long after he had made the heavens by the word of his command and had used the waters to form the earth and surround it. And God has commanded that the earth and the heavens be stored away for a great bonfire at the judgment day, when all ungodly men will perish.

But don’t forget this, dear friends, that a day or a thousand years from now is like tomorrow to the Lord. He isn’t really being slow about his promised return, even though it sometimes seems that way. But he is waiting, for the good reason that he is not willing that any should perish, and he is giving more time for sinners to repent. The day of the Lord is surely coming, as unexpectedly as a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the heavenly bodies will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be burned up.

These verses above are just a few but the Word of God is full of things explaining our times now and what is to come. God has not changed, though He had given us a Savior for our sins, He has also told us that we must seek God and only God! This is so plain through out the Bible. Yes our country and many others have allowed other gods in. This has been explained away as freedom… yet we know we are not free. We have become bound by laws that are not godly laws. We have been deceived into removing prayer from our schools and now they are fighting to take prayer out of everything. They say this is so we do not offend anyone. So we offend God! Yes my friends we are in hard times and they will get harder. Things are happening just as God said they would. We are getting farther and farther from God and God said:

Matthew 24:21-27 (KJV)

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

I would advise everyone to read the whole chapter of each of these verses I have given for more insight to what God is telling us about our times. Life is very hard right now but the true believers will seek God and His truth. God’s people will be kept safe in Christ no matter what. This is God’s promise to us. However those who are just saying they are Christians will fall. The TRUTH will be what happens in the end. Only God knows who is truly His and who isn’t. That is not for us to judge. SEEK GOD! Nothing is hidden from God – He knows YOUR heart… He knows the real you! I am always trying to make everyone who visits this site seek deep in their own hearts for who they really are because that is what God sees and if that is not right with God then you will be lost. Please do not be among the lost ones, come in truth to Jesus and seek to obey Him. Seek to follow Him in truth. Walk in Love… God is LOVE.
